A unique blend of cinnamon, and cloves with cherries and gooseberries. This is the most versatile of the sauces that has been enjoyed on pancakes, ice cream, and waffles. Try it on cheese cake or use in a black forest cake. My original thoughts again go back to meat such as Turkey, a pork loin just off the grill, chicken breasts or veggie dishes. The tartness of the gooseberries combined with the cinnamon and cloves also make it a great match with wild meat such as duck, venison, and elk.
